Start from Home in the app, or from the visit on the web. The audio is saved on your device first, so a dropped connection doesn’t lose the visit.
1

Find the visit

Open Home. Each visit on today’s schedule has its own card.
2

Start recording

Tap Start recording on the visit card. Recording starts right away and is linked to that visit. To record without a scheduled visit, tap + and choose New recording.
3

Pause or stop

Use the pause and stop buttons on the recording screen. If you move to another screen, a bar at the bottom shows Recording or Paused with Finish.

After you finish

The app opens the post-visit checklist. It tracks four things for the visit:
  1. The note. Tap Review & sign when it’s ready.
  2. Your own note. Tap Add note to dictate or type anything you want on the record.
  3. Forms. Tap Open forms.
  4. The patient guide. Tap View.
While the note is drafted, the In flight section on the record screen shows its progress: uploading, transcribing, then Report ready.
Recording keeps your iPhone or iPad screen awake, so it won’t lock mid-visit.
If nobody has spoken for 5 minutes, you’ll be asked whether you’re still recording. If no one answers within a minute, recording pauses.

Dictate a note of your own

A provider note is separate from the visit recording. Use it to dictate your own findings or plan.
  • On iPad, tap Provider Note on Home.
  • After a visit, tap Add note on the post-visit checklist.
