Before you start
Pick these first. Everything else follows from them.- A practice lead. Usually the office manager. They own the plan and the go-live date.
- A pilot provider. One provider uses it first, for a week, before everyone else.
- A go-live date. Avoid your busiest clinic days.
- Devices. Which iPhones or iPads will record in each exam room, and who carries them.
Week 1: set up
Week 2: pilot
- The pilot provider records their own visits for a full week.
- The front desk sends intake links for that provider’s patients.
- Meet for 15 minutes at the end of each day. Note what to change in templates, forms and guides.
Week 3: go live
- Every provider starts recording.
- Keep the 15-minute end-of-day check-in for the first week.
- Use the go-live checklist on the first day.
After 30 days
Review with your Operant Health contact:- How many visits were recorded and signed.
- Where notes still need the most editing.
- What the front desk still does by hand.
Who does what each day
A day in the life for each role, once you’re live.
